Q. How can I be sure that a diamond is conflict-free?

A. Jewelry Works is committed to obtaining precious metals and gemstones and crafting our jewelry in ways that are socially and environmentally responsible.  

In 2002, a coalition of governments and non-governmental organizations teamed with the diamond industry to establish the Kimberley Process.  The purpose of the Kimberley Process is to control the export and import of rough diamonds to eliminate the trade in conflict diamonds. Today 99% of diamonds in the marketplace are conflict free.
